Alma and Amulek teaching - From the Church of Jesus Christ website. Sorry, everyone, but due to some complications with the computers I will only have a short time to write my letter so I am going to be super quick! I just want to share an experience that happened while I was on an exchange with Elder Knecht who is our new AP. While on our exchange we went to go and visit a member who Elder Knecht had only visited one time. SO finding her house was really quite difficult, ha ha. But as we were looking he felt impressed to take a road he didn't recognize and we ended up finding it! Then we knocked on the door and a man told us the women we were looking for was not there. Well immediately as we started to leave, she walked around the corner! We were very blessed to catch her, because we were planning on coming earlier, and we were a little late, so if we weren't late we wouldn't have seen her. Then she told us that she had just come from the temple because she is ...

These kids were trying to tie me up and they were just playing with us, ha ha! Well as far as proselytizing this week, we weren't able to do very much. We had to do a lot of administrative stuff with other missionaries, which took up most of our time this past week. On Wednesday, we had transfers which took up the entire day. We started a new method of doing transfers where we send the missionary in a taxi straight to their area. That requires a lot of coordination with other missionaries, especially because we are sending missionaries across the mission, with no cell phone. So that was a fun day! On Thursday, we had to go to the stake center to do a finding activity for new investigators. Our stake president is starting a new program where he is allowing non-members to use the chapel for things like weddings or any other program. Our job is to be there to oversee it, but to also use it as an opportunity to invite people to learn more about the church...

Fourth of July dinner Well today marks the start of my second to last transfer in Ghana. It is quite scary to think that two years ago I received my mission call and I was beginning my preparation to serve my mission. Time flies by! It really does! To start my letter off, this past week was mostly the same as usual, ha ha. On Wednesday we had our monthly MLC (Mission Leader Counsel) and it went really well! It's quite a privilege to be able to counsel with other missionaries about how we can help build up our missionaries. Especially when, we are able to see the success of their missions.  It makes me really happy to be that I am in this mission. I have seen it come a long way. The missionaries here are just amazing. I can't even explain how blessed I am to be here. On the fourth of July we had a few missionaries over to make fried chicken and mashed potatoes. Let's just say, that was a good way to end my last fourth of July in Ghana, ha ha! Then...

Hee hee, I had my claim to fame this past week! :) 7-1-2019

Football camp with Ziggy Ansah!!! Let's get to the cool stuff first. I got to do a football camp with the NFL player Ezekiel Ansah!!! He just got traded to the Seattle Seahawks so if you want to look him up now you know where to look! The purpose of the camp was to teach the youth of Ghana what the sport of football is. Now for Ziggy (that's his nickname) he grew up in Ghana for his first eighteen years. Then he moved to  Utah to attend BYU, where he became a football legend. He comes back to Ghana every year because he wants to give back to this country that he loves so much. What is even cooler, he did a 40 yard dash sprint with the missionaries. Guess what? I won! I have to say that was one of the coolest things I have ever done! Ha ha, as fun as it was, it was honestly even better being able to have the chance to volunteer and to help to bring the youth of this country together and teach them what the importance of teamwork is.  The activity is especially to help...
